These stackable cups are inspired by the fractal geometry of the honeycomb-like ornamental vaulting, known as muqarnas, that lines the domes of the Alhambra fortress in Granada. While most cups are usually hidden inside a cupboard when not in use, designer Arthur Mamou-Mani intended for users to keep the Muqar cups on display. Made from glazed clay, they’re 100% food- and heat-safe, suitable for anything from water to wine to hot tea.
